May i know what enamel brand you are using?

From what i experinced.... i choose enamel not by their coverage.... 

But what model you are building..... since its old model car kit... people usually finish real car with enamel .... so it may look real at some point....  corect me if wrong......

Old times people using brush to finnish the real car.... since airbrush is not invented yet at that time

But i never try it on scale model.....

Do you mind share with me the trick and  the picture you already paint with brush?

These kits are simple kits.

I picked that because I don't have a lot of time to build model kits.

Here's some inspiration for you, especially considering your location.  Do a search on "Santa Monica Road Races."  Back in the early 1900s, cars like the Lindberg Mercedes and Stutz took part in that annual race.  You can find lots of photos and info.

Here's a random pic I found.  Those cars are racing down Wilshire Blvd., which was still a dirt road:

Stutz finished success!

Here is a picture of it.

Let me say it is unpainted.

AMT kit said 'Painting is optional'. So that's the way we did it.

AMT Corvettes 3 complete kits edition. Got one the other day. Opened it up.

All three instruction sheets say 'Painting is optoional' or 'If you wish to paint your model'.

53 57 and 63 Corvette.

Saw that and thought about it. It woks for me.

Lindberg Mercedes Racer and 1910 Ford Model T are next.

It clicked when I read 'If you wish to paint your model' in the '53 Corvette instructions.

Experience tells you what a good model should look like but putting in the hours

just isn't reasonable.

Having a completely equipped workbench with everything at your fingertips  isn't going to happen here either..

So this is the way it is.

Glue together only.

It works out okay.You can see what it's supposed to be.

Up nest is the Lindberg 1/16 Model T (can't find instruction sheet!) or another big scale kit.
