Here's Another Twisters Vega.  I was going through the forum earlier and I saw a post for a Twisters Vega that I liked.

And I've been wanting to start posting on here as well.  This is the AMT Twisters Vega pretty much out of the box with just a few personal touches that I added.  Any and all feedback and/or criticism is welcome.

Here are a few more.  The paint is the Testors One Coat White Lightning sprayed with an air brush.  Let me know how the size of these are, I tied to make the pictures not so large.

Here is one last picture I'll put in here.  Now that I know this works ok, I have a few more cars I want to share.

Nice model. Unfortunately it is not a Vega, but a 1978 Monza. When they were new, the Vega name was so bad that Chevrolet got rid of the alloy engine, restyled the front end of the hatchback and wagon, and folded them into the Monza lineup. The hatchbacks did not sell well, and the wagons faired just a little better, with the availability of a V6. I won a lucrative dealership contest by selling the most Monza wagons in a particular time period.

Thanks for the nice words, this was fun to build.  I may take just a few more pictures but from further back.

Going back to the Monza comment, I thought that looked familiar.  My Dad bought an 81 Monza for a commute car.  It was a sharp looking car, at least I thought so, but it had one of those 4 cylinder engines and almost sorta had power.  I inherited the car and drove it to college.  I liked it.

One of my good friends in High School had a real Vega similar to the above.  We had a lot of fun in that car.  He dropped a small block in it, and it would go.  Would scrape the pavement every now and then but that's part of it.
