hello all a newbie here! need help!

hello all, my name is jeryd, i love building model cars when i am not working on my real cars! i am new to the computer, and just found this site i love it! but i have a question how do i post pictures of my models? any help? thanks

Jeryd, your pics have to be hosted somewhere on the internet..........Fotki, Imagestation, Photobucket to name a few.

If you're using Fotki, you have to use the "share photo" button and use that URL here.

It should look something like this...........

Other sites you can right click on the pic and get the properties and use that URL in the image tags.

That should work................it's a good idea to preview your message to see if the pic will show up.

Hi man and welcome!

To post pics you'll need a photo hosting website. I would recommend Photobucket. Its easy to set up and plus its free.

-Upload your pics there or where ever you host your pics.

-Right click on the image, go to properties, copy the url.

-Click the "Img" button in the posting area here.

-Paste the url in between the tags like this .

If you use photobucket you can just copy the third set of tags under the thumbnail image. It may be tricky at first but becomes second nature.
