It is a revell kit that the back of the  roof has been chopped about 3mm  and the trunk was dropped down about 2mm. 

The engine is a gmc in-line 6 with the tri carb setup from the kits engine.

Thanks. I like doing unusual engines in my project.

I am trying to go for a traditional period biuld. Thankfully I have a 1977 issue of street rodder with about 20 pages of 49-50-51 Mercs that I’m using for inspiration.

I finished the body work and now I want to paint it. The only problem is that I don’t know what colour it should be. So if anyone has a suggestion for a colour that would look good let me know.
