bbowser Posted May 3, 2018 Posted May 3, 2018 Just received my first set of these from Mike's, they look great! Going to do Blaney's #12 Menards Fusion. Any tips or things I should watch for would be appreciated, i.e. do they work with Micro-Sol? Searched the tips forum, didn't see anything. Thought this might be a better choice.
mikemopar70 Posted May 4, 2018 Posted May 4, 2018 Powerslide decals are very good quality product, it lend on really nice and i work them with micro set and micro sol setting solutions to conform tricky places. Micro set on the body Under the decal and micro sol after the decal is applied as a solvent, but once applied you must not touch the decal before it dries completely!
martinfan5 Posted May 4, 2018 Posted May 4, 2018 Bruce, that is going to be my next project, Blaney's Fusion, but to be on topic, they are very straight forward, there is nothing to watch out for, they are great, but take Michel's tip, once you put some settling solution, dont touch them. I take that back, some of the larger decals, use some setting solution on them.
bbowser Posted May 4, 2018 Author Posted May 4, 2018 Thanks guys! That looked to be the case but thought I would ask. I past is any guide, I'll be done in about 60 days
