Greg Wann Posted September 3, 2018 Posted September 3, 2018 (edited) Thank you, Tonio. Here are the first couple of bodies out of a fresh mold. Once again notice how thin the flash in the window openings is. Some of it just pops out on it's own upon demolding. Cradling the mold in heavy sheet metal and adding the dimples was a great invention for myself. While these inventive ideas are probably considered my intellectual property, I share them so that other casters might be successful in making parts that are actually useful to a model builder. My parts are Modelhaus quality if not better. Edited September 3, 2018 by Greg Wann
Tonioseven Posted September 6, 2018 Posted September 6, 2018 You're very welcome Greg! I still have your excellent Mustang LX resin body to build! I will DEFINITELY be interested in getting at least ONE of these if not MORE!
Greg Wann Posted September 12, 2018 Posted September 12, 2018 Here is a Formula hood I made. a flat hood to do and air cleaners to do still.
Greg Wann Posted December 18, 2018 Posted December 18, 2018 OK....It has been awhile. All of the parts molds are made except the flat hood and it is nearly complete. I had Mike straighten out the master hood and clay it up. Mike has the eyes and knowledge to know how to make it look like it is supposed to. The master hood is quite thin too.
MeatMan Posted December 18, 2018 Posted December 18, 2018 Stuff looks fantastic! I'd love to get my hands on one when they are available.
George Bojaciuk Posted February 11, 2019 Author Posted February 11, 2019 For anyone interested... I rec’d my order from Greg. I have dispensed what I owed and what I want! I have remaining product. If you are interested, PM me and I can let you know what is available! Limited quantities!
Repstock Posted February 11, 2019 Posted February 11, 2019 Not to be too picky, but MPC put the door handles in the wrong place. Too high on the door. Not a deal breaker, though.
