Jay Posted June 19, 2018 Posted June 19, 2018 This is one of my Holy Grail builds and has foiled me repeatedly over the years. DW's 1990 Tide Lumina. The paint is Tamiya neon orange, PS-24, and white. The orange is for Lexan, but works for this too. I used Gravity 2 part clear over the main graphics and then applied the rest after wet sanding/polishing. The decals are from Powerslide with some Fred Cady mixed in.
Irish Murphy Posted June 20, 2018 Posted June 20, 2018 Looks awesome.. how do you like that clear? I’ve been looking at buying a 2 part clear but can’t decide on the gravity or zero, also looking at an automotive 2 part urethane but they are so expensive.
bbowser Posted June 20, 2018 Posted June 20, 2018 That is gorgeous, you nailed it! Just remember to keep it out of the sun or that orange will fade
