chebbysteve
I'm here in LA for a couple of days. Can anyone point me to a good hobby shop that I can visit while I'm here? Thanks for any help. Edited July 31, 2008 by chebbysteve
gasman
I can't help you with the Hobby Shop (I know a great one in Ventura. but I don't think you want to travel that far north), but be sure to visit the Peterson Automotive Museum while you are there, its a great place. Be sure the drive through the museums parking garage too. they store some cool stuff in there too

sfhess
What part of LA? You can check out Burbank's House of Hobbies (with a side trip to Autobooks), Kit Craft in Studio City, or Smith Brothers out in Northridge.
rickr442
Prestige Hobbies on Beach Bl. in Anaheim, and Brookhurst Hobbies in Garden Grove. There's a cruise night on Main Street in GG on Firday nights. The Burbank and Studio City shops are greatr places. The Petersen is on Wilshire Blvd near Beverly Hills. chebbysteve
Thanks for all the help guys. Unfortunately, the business we were tending to didn't allow me any time to see Petersens or the hobby shops. Maybe another trip someday.
