Mike999 Posted July 30, 2018 Posted July 30, 2018 (edited) Good job and looks like a fun project! Best movie dialogue ever about Hollywood was in the 1980 horror movie "The Howling." A young cop and an old cop are driving down Hollywood Blvd. in their LAPD cruiser. The young cop looks at all the people on the street and asks: "Where do they come from? Where are they going?" Old cop replies: "I don't know where they come from. But they've got to where they're going." (The script was written by John Sayles, who also wrote/directed "Eight Men Out" and many other good movies.) I was living in Hollywood around that time. On Carlton Way, between Hollywood & Sunset Blvds. and right off of Western Ave. Hollywood is one of the most fun places in the world to visit and hang out. But living there was a real PITA. Especially in summer, when hordes of tourists, transients, wanna-be movie stars and just general weirdos pour in. You learned pretty quickly not to ever leave anything visible in your car. And if you had an older car without a hood lock, you had to buy a heavy chain and padlock for the hood. If not your battery would be stolen. Our apartment building had that happen continuously, and it had "secure" underground parking. Obviously not secure enough... Edited July 30, 2018 by Mike999 omit
