Hey all,

Anyone know if this is made in resin, and by whom? I'm looking to do a Baldwin-Motion car but the hood is the "stinger" type instead of the "L-88" style as in the Revell kit.

Thanks,

garage cast offered them.. Not sure is Russ is still in business or not. You can still find them around on the bay sometimes..

 Larry, I don't know if anyone actually casts this hood in resin or vac-formed, but I made one useing a 67 vette hoodscoop and the end of an plastic "el cheepo" ink pen.I just kept whitlin away at the pointy end till it fit into the opening of the scoop, and laid it on the hood till it looked right. It wasn't hard at all.

Larry,

I knew I had seen something close or exactly like what you were looking for at the Road Knights show here in Charlotte yesterday.

I quickly checked the Bandit Resins website (www.banditresins.com) and didn't see one there but it would be worth checking with Kenny as he is always developing new stuff.

Also at the show were the folks from Competition Resins (www.compresins.com). I remember seeing something close and they have a '68 Dana Camaro stinger hood listed. Not sure if it is exactly what you are looking for but check it out.

Hope this helps!

Mike
