Effect of Moving Pictures On Fotki

If I add new pictures in fotki and arrange the new ones to fit in order by the year will the moving of the other pictures mess up pictures alresdy posted to a forum?

The short answer is yes. The fact is it depends on how you created the link in the first place and whether the new photo location will have a new, unique URL. In most every case it will.

Yes as you can't move photos around on fotki like playing cards. Once the photos are there you can keep them there, add photos, or delete photos.

To echo what Steve said, if you rearrange the pics in a particular folder, that should have no bearing on the pics showing here. If you were to move the pics to another album for instance, yes.....the URL would change and the pics won't show here. I rearrange photos all the time as I may want them numbered in a particular order, and the pics are still showing here on the board.

I just had this happen the other day when I was making a post, and went to move the pic to another album after I posted. Sure enough, the pic was gone until I edited the post with the different URL and then it reappeared.
