Reuhkapelti2 Posted October 23, 2018 Posted October 23, 2018 Hello! I'm back with this crazy -69 Chevy Camaro. I spotted a twin blower GTO video on youtube, and so I wanted to build a model looking something like that. I picked up this Camaro, that had given some parts to other projects earlier. I gathered some parts around and made some parts myself. The body is spray painted and it got some clear coating too. I built this only two weeks, when I had some time, so there may be some imperfections (like always...) and it should have a strong cage inside the cockpit. I left it out though.
matthijsgrit Posted October 24, 2018 Posted October 24, 2018 That's a LOT of motor!! Diggin' the side exhausts (NASCAR?) and the total build! What color did you use?
Reuhkapelti2 Posted October 24, 2018 Author Posted October 24, 2018 Thanks both of you! The exhaust and the rear axle supporters are from a nascar, modified slightly to fit under this Camaro. The body paint is sprayed, first white primer, then two coats of metallic silver and then the red, which is some cheap spray from a local department store. Finally some clear lacque. No sanding at all between spraying.
