on the  AMT  57 CHEVY - the photo etched material  - i want to use it for the  side  do i treat it as a decal material  - i`ve never seen this stuff ???

You need to remove the molded details which will be replaced with the PE.

If your wanting to use the photo etched " side filler"  you will have to sand the ridges  off on the inner section on the rear quaters

You can use Epoxy Glue but don't use the quick setting 5 min. kind . Use the slower setting regular epoxy. Since I think that this is the first time your using Photo etch parts, stay away from Super Glue as it sets up too quickly if you need to re-adjust the piece on the body.
