suprafastcelica
I have decals to do the car pictured. my question is the red i should use. I use Tamiya paints. i have Itailian red and Bright red. Thoughts?
Devilsnake98
I'd go with the ts-49 bright red, I did a spray test on a white plastic spoon and it looks really close to the color on the snap-on #2 car. If you have the paint already, try it yourself and see. Hope this helps.

Thanks for you input. i have used Italian red on what plastic before and it, to me, looks a lot brighter than this.. that is why I asked. I realize that the caps are not always right but the caps on Italian red and Bright red look the same.
martinfan5
I think Bright Red would be a better choice over the Italian Red , and I would suggest to use the pink primer. Edited November 10, 2018 by martinfan5
MarkJ
You say you have both . Get some white plastic spoons, try them both on the spoons and let them dry completely, some paints darken a little after they dry, then compare the spoons to the picture.. closest one wins. If its a really close match with one of them then use white primer on the model since the spoons are white.
