carmad1957 Posted November 17, 2018 Posted November 17, 2018 Yep, been a long while since I sat down and concentrated on a build and got it done, but those days are behind me! Yes sir! My purpose for getting back involved with this group is not only to follow these awesome builds as they go along, but hoping for some pointers and suggestions as I get underway on my upcoming builds. What better forum right? Have a very basic little workroom that I set up in a spare bedroom, and considering my lack of skills and a tight budget for kits and supplies....I could use all the help I can get! I have a winter project I'm starting soon of 3 Ferrari kits by Tamiya. The Enzo, the FXX-K, and the very successful 2001F1 car. In Hope's of sharpening my building skills.....so I can successfully build these cars, I picked up a Tamiya kit of the Kawasaki HR2 and I'm rolling right along with it! Sure is nice to be back at it again! Plan on doing an in-process on the Ferraris so if you would be so kind, I would love any suggestions, tips and comments!
Hotrod 97 Posted November 18, 2018 Posted November 18, 2018 Awesome to hear Kevin! There is a lot of knowledgeable builders on these forums, so feel free to ask a question! Can hardly wait to see those Ferraris!

Doing the Tamiya Kawasaki HR2 to get back into "building shape" Gotta do these Ferraris justice! I'll post a couple pics when it's complete.
carmad1957 Posted November 18, 2018 Author Posted November 18, 2018 Just to add, you are correct about the skilled builder here. Probably the best forum out there.
disabled modeler Posted November 18, 2018 Posted November 18, 2018 Welcome Kevin..! I cant imagine a day without plastic...LOL.. Best advise anyone ever gave me is to treat every part as if it were a model itself and building is no race..build at your own pace. I understand budget issues all too well too. There are many very helpful nice people here.

Totally agree with you that the builders on this forum are spectacular
