disconovaman Posted November 25, 2018 Posted November 25, 2018 (edited) Our local club meet was today and the challange was to take a pre loved model and redo it. One of our members supplied the kits from a hoard that he had accqruied... there were some rough barn find style build ups in the pile. There were many to choose from this 40+ year collection. It was a fun challange. There are some that haven't quite made it back yet but I'll show the "Not so Under Glass" pics anyway... The Nomad was the only one not from that collection, it was given to me as a personal challenge to restore after it was kicked around for 5 years as a stalled project. After I kept saying I'd like to try my hand at improving and completing, It finally landed on my bench. The 69 camaro was the one I picked from the collection and I've already added it here in a seperate post. I'll try to show before and after photos but most are during. Thanks for looking... Snake45 Posted November 25, 2018 Posted November 25, 2018 Some very nice rescue/rehab work there! Looks like your club has a great group of Glue Bomb Heroes!
disconovaman Posted November 26, 2018 Author Posted November 26, 2018 Thanks, Yeah everyone in the club enjoys a good restoration it's just getting them to actually finish the Challange is the hard part, especially within a month's time. I hope they don't go back in a box in a corner...
