665@213 Posted November 26, 2018 Posted November 26, 2018 (edited) I was looking through some parts boxes today, and came across these 3 out of 4 wheels. I have no idea what they are from. They are molded in yellow. The rears are wider than the fronts. They have been painted what looks like Testors Steel. Id like to get a complete set, but have no clue where to start. Thanks for looking! Edited November 26, 2018 by 665@213
Nataan92 Posted November 26, 2018 Posted November 26, 2018 they look to be wheels from a Group C race car. Perhaps they are from the Tamiya toyota 88CV Taka Q kit, given the yellow plastic underneath. I havent built this kit though, so someone else might be able to confirm.
Tommy124 Posted November 26, 2018 Posted November 26, 2018 I would definitely agree with Nathan about this being the Toyota 88 wheels. Note that there is another kit of that car from Hasegawa. If you look for similar wheels (so not necessarily require the exact same ones), you might also go for those from the Hasegawa/ROG Porsche 962 kits. They might be better available, depending on where you look...
Dr. Trevorkian Posted November 26, 2018 Posted November 26, 2018 Those are definitely the Tamiya version. Shoot me a message. I should have a spare. Trevor
