1961 Monterey color combo

I have what appears to be the AMT 61 Mercury Monterey 2 door hardtop kit that I'd like to do in black with red interior. My Google searches only show this combination on the convertible. Does anyone know if the 61 hardtop was offered in this combo? Thanks

You could get virtually any color interior available with a black or white exterior back in this era.

That's a beautiful '61 Mercury! I have that same pic on my hard disc of '61 Merc pics and I'd like to do one in that same color someday, as I have a convertible builtup that needs a redo.

Thanks for the info. Now to find the right shade of red. Anyone have any suggestions? And Bill, I agree completely. That convertible is gorgeous and is what made me settle on the black over red combo. Just hope I can get it right. BTW here's what I'm working with...
