long story short, this is an older build that i am quite pleased with

it all started with a ford focus SVT

but ugly car to begin with which will make an awesome baotanchor in its prime but not a whole lot more

it comes with ford 2.0 zetec engine

HPIM0157.jpg

the only reason i bought this kit is because my cat killed my ford bigfoot monster truck

even though most of the truck was tossed (man i wish i kept the wheels)

i still saved the 572 CUI ford hemi as well as the tranny

it took quite a few lil modifications to the frame, tunnel and even the hood (didnt clear the supercharger) but i managed to shoehorn her in there

i custom build a replica of a qauife LSD and made a driveshaft and axles from 16 gauge wire

the paint job is inspired by both the corolla WRC and martini

it was also the first custom paintjob i ever airbrushed

enjoy :(

Cool concept there, Diymirage. Love the paintjob too. I started mixing the HemiSphere dragster with one of these Focus's--man are they detailed

Only thing I'd do differnt ifn I were to build this up 1:1 would be to put some armour plating on the floor and try and get someone else to sit it in and open up dat hemi ;):(

--oh yeah, and stand far, far away!<_<

Kind of hard to see what's going on...your photos are WAY out of focus... <_<

not all of it, the control panel on the dryer is clear as day :(

but seriously, any advise on how to actually take decent pics will be very much apreciated

OK, First of all you don't want to use portrait setting. you need to use macro setting. Portrait will focus about 5 feet from the camera. Macro is for closeups. Find the macro setting and keep the flash off. Start with that and we'll take it step by step.

Thanks,

Also mounting the camera on a tipod or stack of books or something. With the macro setting any tremble in the hands will cause a blurry shot.

I tried to focus on them for nine seconds, but they still look blurry...

Maybe it's really an 11 second car?! :P

not sure if mine has a macro setting

if not, should i try portait and zoom ?

I checked that model and it's going to be tough with that camera. It has no macro setting and there is no optical zoom. The digital zoom feature is useless for this application. The minimum focusing distance for that camera is about 40 inches. Do you have any type of photo software you can crop an image?

You can try the portrait setting, no zoom, highest resolution (5MP). Try with and without flash and see how they compare. Try to have as much light as possible, like outdoors but not direct sunlight as it will confuse the light meter. Then using a photo editing software you can crop the surroundings. Or you can send the picture to me and I'll crop it for you.

Hope this helps!

Thanks,

As Ismael points out, this camera doesn't have a macro mode so you’ll have to shoot a picture with your camera at least

the minimum focus distance away from the model and then crop it. Many photo editing packages, including, quite often,

the software that came with your camera, will allow you to do this. Otherwise, most photo sharing services have photo

editing capabilities that include cropping

Here’s an example of what Ismael is suggesting. In your case you would position the camera just over 3 feet (40â€) from

the model. This is using my Fujifilm E510 which is a 5 megapixel camera just like your HP Photosmart E330. I used full

auto mode, no macro setting, shooting outdoors in overcast daylight. I use Photobucket as my photo sharing service.

It was cropped using Photobucket’s photo editing software. I made sure I uploaded the original picture in as large a size

as Photobucket allowed.

(Original size created by Photobucket uploading at maximum size setting –I Megabyte file size– Yeah, it’s BIG, 2592 x 1944)

Hope this helps.
