1/16 scale Hawaiian.... New vs. Old

Trying to see what differences are there in the New Hawaiian besides the wheels. Are the rear tires different from the old hollow tires? Is the body molded any differently from the original?

With the exception of the New decals, tires and wheels, this is the same Charger Funny Car as the originals. 

I just wish Revell would have sold the tires and wheels separate so we could replace the early tires that are falling apart! The new rear tires are wider and made of a harder material that will most likely not rot out like the originals.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, that would've been great, selling the tires separately because I'm sure I would've bought my fair share of extras as well. I figure that at some point in time, partial kits will start showing up on Ebay and other sites for sale.
