Hi, just finished this Fujimi Mercedes SLK200... Hope you guys like it...

Nice work!  In some respects, I think Fujimi captured the shape better than Tamiya!

Nice work.....looks awesome! You feel the fujimi and tamiya kits are pretty much the same quality? I ask because I've never built a fujimi anything, but spotted an F1 I can't find in a tamiya.

The brakes are a bit too "drilled", but overall it looks wonderful.

Yep... those are Pegasus brand, a bit more for the bling rather than "real" looking... Thanks...

Well, I have built both brands, and as you say... Tamiya is a bit better quality, but Fujimi, Hasegawa and Aoshima cover mostly different  subjects not offered by Tamiya. Also, the newer kits from these manufacturers are having almost "Tamiya Quality" nowadays... Hope this helps...  Thanks...

Thanks very much for sharing your opinion. I've built nothing but domestic (Revell mostly) and just recently discovered these higher quality kits- now I'm hooked!!
