curt raitz Posted August 18, 2008 Posted August 18, 2008 While searching for different variations on the Testarosa 250, I came across this car and decided to build it. Don't know who drove the car or what races it raced in... Built straight out of the box using an old set of Umi decals for the numbers Paint is Tamiya TS-16 Yellow - cleared over with MM Ultra Glos Clearcoat did not encounter problems with putting body on the chassis. Was a fun build and probably will turn it up a notch or two on the next one Please excuse the photos... my trusty Olympus SP-320 died - so used the kidz camera thanx for lookin'
Nick F40 Posted August 18, 2008 Posted August 18, 2008 Wow, she's so beautiful , fantastic in yellow, one of my favorite Ferrari's and the engine detail is outstanding!
JHDrew Posted August 18, 2008 Posted August 18, 2008 Nice work. Boy I wish I could get some free time to work on mine. The car finished 6th in the 58' LeMans race. It was driven by Jean Beurlys and Alain de Changy and was 26 laps back of the winner.
ismaelg Posted August 18, 2008 Posted August 18, 2008 Cool! Nice job. I want to start on mine. So many projects so little time..... Thanks,
novadose71 Posted August 18, 2008 Posted August 18, 2008 Real nice build there, I haven't even picked this kit up yet. I'm thinking this might have been shot at Le Mans. You know it's a helluva grueling race if you can be 26 laps behind the leader and still come in 6th.......now THAT is racing. Here's the same car about 3 years ago.......

simonr Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 If it is, this is what I call a magnificent example of a Box Stock job! Great model! Simón
