Tamiya 1/12 M23 EJAN 1976 Conversion

Finished up the rear suspension. I used the RB Motion 1/12 Lotus 49 Rear Upright Assembly kit. Next will be installing the exhaust system then side pod oil coolers.
 

 

I’m also printing a fuel filter that goes on top of the engine between the intake trumpet and reservoir tank. looks like this:

Almost done with this one. Have to install the windscreen and mirrors and finish up the rear spoiler. Been a long time coming.

Almost there Nick, looking really good.

I don't think I have completed one of these 1:12 Tamiya kits in less than 5 years....lol Once you get into all the details the time just slips away 

Cant wait to see it 'Under Glass'

Thank you Bruce. Actually finishing this one up pretty quickly. It was in moth balls for 5 years. One thing I’m pissed about are all of the cracks in the clear coat on the body. When I started working on it again they didn’t look too bad to the naked eye and they still don’t but when you take a picture they look terrible. I should have wet sanded the clear and re-coated it but I didn’t notice how bad it looked until I had alot of parts on it and took some pictures. Then it was too late. I didn’t want to mess anything up. Now I’m at a point where I just want to get it done.
