I'm trying to get back into modelling and have acquired a collection of models and tools. Besides learning what to do I'm hoping inspiration and motivation will come from all the fantastic modellers and models on this forum.

Welcome! Calgary is a big city if I have it right, but another guy I know from there is Pat Bibeau (the fellow with the camera in the photo down the left side of this page) who's been a regular at the Utah GSL contest for decades, it seems. If the opportunity arises, I'd suggest finding a space in his convoy down to Salt Lake City next year.

Russel, thanks for the welcome and the info on Pat, I'll see if I can track him down. You're right, Calgary is a big city, at approx.1.3 million its population is about 4 times larger than it was when we moved here forty years ago.
