d15nonvtec Posted January 2, 2019 Posted January 2, 2019 Got out of modeling a few years back but got the itch again and I will say I am quite rusty. Figured I would get my feet wet again on this Mustang with some mods. Like I said, very rusty, so it's no show car haha. Turbo, rear centerline wheels, NOS and seat are from Ted's. The turbo downpipe is solder and I will build the rest of the exhaust from styrene rod. The copper pipe is there for an intake hole I drilled for an inlet through the headlight.
NYLIBUD Posted January 3, 2019 Posted January 3, 2019 I really like the LX Notches,I'll be watching your progress.Looks real good so far. What color are you gonna paint the car?
d15nonvtec Posted January 3, 2019 Author Posted January 3, 2019 The one pic shows it painted @NYLIBUD . Its gloss gray. Battleship grayish. Thanks!
NYLIBUD Posted January 3, 2019 Posted January 3, 2019 (edited) Oh ok,I thought it was primer.Im sure that color will look really good after the car is done. Edited January 4, 2019 by NYLIBUD
Hotrod 97 Posted January 3, 2019 Posted January 3, 2019 Looks great! Can hardly wait to see it finished!
NYLIBUD Posted January 7, 2019 Posted January 7, 2019 Again the car looks really good.Very mean stance.Love it...Please don't take this the wrong way,but are you leaving the car in the gloss grey Battleship color?Sorry I thought maybe something brighter perhaps..But again,it's none of my business.I was just curious. Its your model. And again,I like it a lot.I have built so many of these Notchbacks.Definitely one of my favorite drag cars..Anyway,keep the good work coming.I'll grab some good ideas from you.The seat too,is great. You said you got it from Teds.I was going to buy one,but they were on back order.I guess I'll check again.
d15nonvtec Posted January 7, 2019 Author Posted January 7, 2019 Complete.. Not the best, but it gets my feet wet again @NYLIBUDno problem sir. I like the color on this car, but the paintwork is not the best haha. some more pics.....
NYLIBUD Posted January 7, 2019 Posted January 7, 2019 Looks great.I like the gauges and the nos bottle.
