Picked this up at the hobby shop today for my next builds.................great paint schemes from back in the day. Decal sheets were stuck together so I will have to chase down new decals otherwise all the parts and pieces look in good shape and everything is there.

Wow, that must have set you back a pretty penny. Wish I had a local hobby shop that carried kits like that.  I always have to wait till they have the imps show in Stafford to get cool old kits like that from the vendors at the show.

Those are fun models to build.  Fortunately, the decals are plentiful in the secondary market.  I really suggest Wet Works decals for the Mountain Dew car.  They got the green the closest to the actual car.

This guy has a very large store and goes around buying out peoples collections of die cast cars, planes, military stuff  , model kits..............then he sells it for really good prices. For example he will sell die cast NASCAR models for $10 - 20 each and when these were new they were $60 to 75 each..........and a lot of these are the super stars of the sport.

You are very fortunate to have that hobby shop . The hobby shop I have has a few models and I was able to convince the owner to stock some evergreen, but its mostly a radio control car and plane type of hobby shop. He has Tamiya paint but doesn't keep his stock up very well. That is why I decided to switch to testors enamel and an air brush.
