rcended Posted January 12, 2019 Posted January 12, 2019 Hi All. I am wondering if there is an alternative to Testors "Boyds" Grabber Orange enamel paint. I would rather use an acrylic if possible. Would Tamiya Camel Yellow be close? I am wondering if choice of undercoat would give me the shade I require using the Tamiya spray - grey or black instead of white for example. I would like to build a model of this 1970 Mustang that raced in New Zealand that was Grabber Orange. Car was very similar to the Factory Trans Ams but built from a wreck in New Zealand. Thanks in advance for any advice hints you can supply for correct colour. Regards Tony
ZTony8 Posted January 12, 2019 Posted January 12, 2019 Testor makes a Grabber Orange. Or you can use Tamiya TS-56.
StevenGuthmiller Posted January 12, 2019 Posted January 12, 2019 Just now, ZTony8 said: Testor makes a Grabber Orange. Or you can use Tamiya TS-56. Correct. Testors has a Grabber Orange in their lacquer line. Steve

rcended Posted January 12, 2019 Author Posted January 12, 2019 Cool. Thank you all. I have some very old Grabber Orange Testors in a bottle here but it is enamel which was why I was asking about an Acrylic equivalent. I did not know that they now did one in spray so will chase that up and get started. Regards Tony
