3men2s Posted August 29, 2008 Posted August 29, 2008 This is one of the coolest truck ever made the fat fenders, the tall and bold hood it looks mean and nasty, A Hot Rod for ever. I wanted to do this for a long time, create a transporter out of it. the back will be scratch build. and it will have costom wheels and a modrn engine maybe a 4.6 from a 06 mustang gt kit. or a 429 boss?? I am still thinking what color scheme to use. will like sugestions the concept: references so far color wise I am thinking something like this

E St. Kruiser50 Posted August 29, 2008 Posted August 29, 2008 (edited) Hey 3Men I like your idea's and your "Artistry". I like trucks, and the one you've chosen is very cool I enjoy using lot's of color. I built this 6 or 7 years ago, and this '50 of mine is still one of my fav's. Good luck on choosing your color combo - Dave Edited August 29, 2008 by Treehugger Dave
3men2s Posted September 8, 2008 Author Posted September 8, 2008 treehugger, that's one sweet ride, Isaw it here before and I had to do a doubl take....beautifull paint and bodywork
Eshaver Posted September 8, 2008 Posted September 8, 2008 Mike I own and have restored a couple of Real 53 Ford trucks. First I dont know why you cant have a car hauler . Ford did offer an extended chassis for the F-300 series. It took the 5 lug one ton Budd wheels and they were powered by either the Big Lincon " E- L Series Flat head s or the new Y block engine that you would see in the Thunderbird. I beleive if you take the pieces from the Model King Racers Wedge, you should be able to make you're dream come true. I might add, very nice art there too. Keep us inquiring minds posted ! Ed Shaver
RadRidesByDan Posted September 8, 2008 Posted September 8, 2008 I like where this project is heading....cant wait to see how it will develope
Casey429 Posted September 9, 2008 Posted September 9, 2008 You could also try the fuel injected 460 from the Monogram '89 F-350 duallie. Probably a tight squeeze, but its just a matter of some plastic massaging.
