andy12646 Posted April 8, 2019 Posted April 8, 2019 When building headers from solder, what bonding agent (ie: epoxy. super glue) do you prefer to use to bond the header tubes (solder) to each other? And what brand do you recommend?
Bainford Posted April 8, 2019 Posted April 8, 2019 I use CA. Most any brand works well including cheap dollar store single use tubes. My preferred brand is BSI (Bob Smith Industries). It comes in several viscosities that are handy for various purposes, though super thin is my go to CA. They also sell accelerator (AKA kicker) which is highly recommended, and they sell a CA de-bonder, which is marginally effective regardless of brand.
MeatMan Posted April 8, 2019 Posted April 8, 2019 I've done several and I've always used CA, its never failed me and is easy to use.
