T-Bird pro stock “Flat-out”

Hello people.  My next model on my bench that I will post is this.  

I am going to paint her two tone. Flat red that I used for my trans am and flat black 

Started the engine sprayed the chassis a few days ago   

The new tires unfortunately don’t have any side detail  so I am going use the insert from my parts bin and use those  Probably will grab the front runners from parts bin aswell

Its the Model Master Racing Red 2939 its a old can so it comes out flat . but yes its very bright.

I will be using some of them. but I will be saving the rest for a future project .

Just a little update. Have part of the cage assembled.  Looks like I have a wandering gauge decal that came loose. That’s the second one.  White glue time ?

I tried a few ships when I was a kid back in the 50s. I wasn't very good at it, and decided to stick with cars. Nice weathering you did on that one.

The plastic on the new kits from China is so brittle. Snapped the wheel spindle trying to put the wheels on. Had to do a quick fix

Little update. She’s on all wheels now.  Just body work to do now.

Thanks Ron.. Had a bit of a snag while test fitting the body. front end started falling apart. seems like a very tight fit. I will pick it up this weekend and see what is going on

Flat out is taking shape  chassis is done and the Black has been layed down 

going to glue the front end after I’m done the headlights  all comments welcomed. Thanks for looking.

taillights are going to take a while to detail right and to fit into place. lots more to do on theses
