Finally after more than 10 years sitting in a box and several before that sitting in a case incomplete, I have finally finished my 1\16th scale 55 Bel Air

Your Bel Air looks great. Considering how long ago AMT tooled this kit it turned out really great. The dust thing is a pain no matter what scale you're working with. Try owning a 1:1 car, any car in black. I swear I'll never own another one.

Thanks, I've owned dark colored cars I know what you mean. I used to have a burgundy F150 I showed, the dark color bite with dust but I've learned the lite colors bite too with tar and such... can't win either way... lol
