I want to buy Model Master's engine paint colors. But can't seem to fin a place that carries all the colors. Is there one particular on-line shop that people buy them  from? Pontiac blue. Chevy red. Chrysler red and blue. Buick blue. Ford red and blue.

I usually shop at 2 places online; Hobbylinc.com and Megahobby.com.  I try to get stuff at the best price, but there isn't much difference in prices at these.  If you can't find what you want at these, try ebay.  Hope this helps.

You can buy big 12oz. cans of many popular engine enamels at your local auto parts store for virtually the same price as a little can of Testors, and it works great!

I’ll try my local auto parts stores Steve but they don’t really have many colors. That’s why I was looking for model masters. I looked at the larger on line hobby stores Mark. But they don’t have all the colors.

I know that my auto parts store carries Pontiac Blue, Chevy Red, Chrysler Orange and Turquoise, and Ford Blue at least.

When I can't find a color that I want, I mix my own from Flat Testors enamels, air brush it on, and clear coat it.

Saves me from having to keep $100.00 worth of engine paint around cluttering up my shop.

Most popular engine colours are available ( albeit , not always in-stock at the store ) , and some less-popular colours as well ( Pontiac Engine Blue Metallic ; Detroit Alpine Green ; Race Hemi Orange ; Hemi Orange ( "Street" and "Magnum" / 1970-1971 340 ) ; and various "_____________" Engine Red shades ( Chrysler Red and Ford Red are darned similar ) ) .

Certain engine colours are "roll your own" , essentially : Oldsmobile Blue Metallic (though I *think* that Testors makes that one) ; AMC blues ; and some others whose names I've forgotten .
