1978 Dodge D100

I picked up two of the new ‘78 Dodge D100’s and am building one of them box stock. 

I have 11 of the  original ones that I plan on building some day. 

Anyways this one is being painted with Scale Finishes eggshell white and  Citrus green and a light green interior. 

I have the chassis completed and am working on the interior right now.

Where did you find it? Been looking for one of these too, for the Mini Bike.

Hobby Depot had them not sure if they still do?

I decided to use Citron green for the main body color. 

Should be able to get it painted by the end of the day.

Just need to put a clear coat on it and it should look really good.

Wow that does look really good. I might have to go to their website and check out

That's a great color choice!,but you might want to sand out those dust bunnies on the front end before putting on the clearcoats.

The hood is getting a re-do and the rest of it looks good.

Got the clear and so far it’s looking great.

 Got the hood repainted and the tail gate. And gave the cab & bed a final clear-coat and sprayed some Alclad on the grille.

That color really shines after the clearcoats!!,can't wait to get a few when they eventually find their way here to Canada.

LOL... me I just want the trucks....make some family owned replicas from them...we had a few real ones over the years but they all had the earlier grilles in them.

OMG...!  You have the MPC 75 Dodge van kit..?   Your lucky...I have been on the hunt for one for years now.  Very cool collection..!
