Oldschool4x4 Posted June 2, 2019 Posted June 2, 2019 Been a while since I posted anything here, so here is what I have on the bench right now. Revell 41, chopped a little bit, frame is from the AMT 50 Chevy, engine will be a mix off several six bangers. Comments welcome.. Oldschool
espo Posted June 2, 2019 Posted June 2, 2019 I like the chopped top. Doing a built 6 cylinder will give it an old show truck vibe, in a good way. Some 6 cylinder goodies can be found in some of the early Corvette kits, the AMT early '50's mdels and the Galaxie '40'2 Chevrolet kits.
misterNNL Posted June 3, 2019 Posted June 3, 2019 IMHO in photo #2 the rear roof section seems to lean forward a little too much. Possibly it's the angle the photo was taken from. Are these pre-glue set-togeather shots?

This was originally chopped to be a cab only rat rod, but I changed it at the last minute. Thanks for the 6 speed parts ideas.
misterNNL Posted June 3, 2019 Posted June 3, 2019 I am the world's biggest advocate for building exactly what you like the way you like. Be sure to post the finished truck photos when this evolves to it's final glory. Thanks for sharing.
