dougwintz Posted June 16, 2019 Posted June 16, 2019 Hi. Here's work in progress on Tamiya's Mazda. Seems like it's taking forever, but now that the engine is in pretty good shape, the rest of it should go quick.
Rider Posted June 16, 2019 Posted June 16, 2019 Looking real good, nice detail work. This is one of my fav kits. I'm curious, how many times have you almost snapped off these body parts? When I built mine I snapped each side off at least once.
Michael jones Posted June 17, 2019 Posted June 17, 2019 Happened on my one, before I even removed it from the box. I hope you tested the engine cowl fitment before you did all that engine work, as it is really hard to make the cowl fit nicely, especially once paint is on, it gets even worse. A really bad design.
dougwintz Posted June 17, 2019 Author Posted June 17, 2019 Hi. Attached are more photos of the work in progress. So far, no fitment problems. Finishing off with decals later this week.
Rider Posted June 23, 2019 Posted June 23, 2019 Good looking build, looks like the decals gave you some fits. Very nice work on the wheels.
