Back in the mid-90s, I was working for the local Porsche dealer. We sold one of our pre-owned cars to the Taj Ma Garaj.

Porsche 944 Turbo Rothman's Cup racecar. Our car was one of the spares, and was never actually raced in that series. We did take it our to PCA track days though.

It was red, still had all of the race parts installed, including the straight pipe exhaust with removable baffles. Thing of beauty. Since buying it, he installed all of the Rothman's decals.

And in doing some searching, our car is indeed a part of the auction.
