Lilheros62 Posted July 11, 2019 Posted July 11, 2019 Hello everyone! Just joined group at the suggestion of a current member. I collect 1:12 scale Wen-Macs and Eldon "Touch Command" cars. I also have a Facebook group page called "The Wen-Mac Mustang Garage". I hope to meet collectors and customizers who may be interested in custom wheels, tires, lighting systems and power upgrade kits for the Wen-Macs Mustangs. A shout out to "cpspoogie" if your out there! Happy to be amoung talented builders!
misterNNL Posted July 12, 2019 Posted July 12, 2019 Please show the rest of us exactly what these cars look like.

Snake45 Posted July 12, 2019 Posted July 12, 2019 Hi Robert and welcome! I have one of the big '67 Mustangs and would love to see what's available for it, but I'm not on facebook and so can't see your group. Could you post some pics of available wheels/tires here? Thanks!

Trying to navigate the forum's format. Will start posting photos and updates. These are new racing slicks derived from the original 1/2" Wen-Mac rear slicks that were included with the gas burner engine upgrade kit and were standard on the RC version Mustangs released by Testors. The new rear slicks will come in several widths from 1/2" - 1" Mega Slicks in different foam densities and solid urethane hardnesses.
Lilheros62 Posted July 13, 2019 Author Posted July 13, 2019 Here are new 1:12 scale wheel hybrids designed to fit the hexaganal axils of the vintage Wen-Mac 1966 and 1967 Mustangs which in the past have made finding compatible wheels difficult. These were based on Revell's 1:12 scale Corvette rims combined with the specially designed hex wheel backs of the original wheels. The old Mustangs had "Spinner Caps" to secure the wheels in place and these will also have a similar wheel system but based on the Corvette rims.
Lilheros62 Posted July 13, 2019 Author Posted July 13, 2019 (edited) Here are new wheels based on vintage Camaro Crager rims. In this case you will have two wheel pieces including the hexaganal back section and a screw-on detailed front piece. All of the prototypes shown will be chrome plated when available.
