Drago Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 Hi guys.. Is Andrews from RMR Resins a member of this forum? Does anybody here knows Andrews or his castings? That’s the website: http://www.freewebs.com/rmrresin/nf125.htm I’m trying to contact him but with no success. Could anybody please tell me a little bit more about his products and/or your experience on deal with him? Tks. Regards.

He is prob a little busy hitting the show scene around this part of the US.
Aaronw Posted September 16, 2008 Posted September 16, 2008 (edited) I've bought from him several times, nice castings and decent service. He can be a little hard to get ahold of and occasionally the wait can be a bit long, but he always comes through and everything I've bought (truck stuff) has been well worth the minor inconveniences. He also sells on ebay occasionally and some of his truck stuff is available from Sourkrout's models. http://sourkrautsmodeltrucks.com/ Edited September 16, 2008 by Aaronw
Steven Zimmerman Posted September 16, 2008 Posted September 16, 2008 If you can't reach him via email, call 814 337 4250 after noon, any day.....He works at night, and casting resin is his full time 'day job'.....Steven Zimmerman aka the'Z'man................
Aaronw Posted September 16, 2008 Posted September 16, 2008 Just thought I'd add I got my order from Sourkrout this afternoon, this was my first time ordering from him. Very happy with the service, online ordering made it easy and I got my order in less that 2 weeks, probably less (I don't remember exactly when I made my order).
Billy Kingsley Posted September 17, 2008 Posted September 17, 2008 Ron @ RMR (Race Motor Replicas) is one of the absolute best-a geat guy to talk to and a great selection of stuff-I have more items from his line of resin then anybody else! I've got pictures of most but not all that I have from his line here- http://public.fotki.com/ElCaminoBilly/mode...ket/resin--rmr/

Ron sells a great product and is a great guy to deal with. If your into 1/16th scale he has some amazing stuff. The photos I posted of the altered T and the Willys is 1/16th and I have some of his engines, fuel(moon tank).
george 53 Posted September 20, 2008 Posted September 20, 2008 Tell ya what, I got his Excavator a while back, and that bad boy is DETAILED! Even got separate track links! It'll be a bear ta build though, caz I got an EARLY version of it with NO instructions! But wtf thats why were modelers, an honestly, I can't remember the last time my ego allowed me to look at an instruction sheet! Beautiful casting though, no pin holes or unfinished peices. I recommend him highly! Besides, who else offers an EXCAVATOR???!!! It's a GREAT PIECE!!!
