Shambles Posted August 22, 2019 Posted August 22, 2019 I posted this project a while back when I first started it. It's been on the shelf while I did some remodeling and set up a new model room. I just got back to work on it and a few other kits I'd started. A little more work to do, and the paint didn't turn out as smooth as I'd like but here's where I left off last night:
MarkJ Posted August 23, 2019 Posted August 23, 2019 Getting there. Looks like your almost done. I was in Hobby Lobby and they had a 62 Pontiac hardtop kit in the clearance area for a little less then 8 bucks. For a kit that's priced at $29.99 that was too good to pass up. Will probably do Weatherley's 62 Pontiac.
Shambles Posted August 24, 2019 Author Posted August 24, 2019 (edited) Hi Mark. I've found some deals on kits in Hobby Lobby's clearance section a couple of times. I got this kit from Model Car Roundup's site for a good price. It's my "go to" place for supplies and decals too. https://www.modelroundup.com/Joe-Weatherly-1961-Pontiac-Catalina-Model-Kit-p/moe-1221sd.htm https://www.modelroundup.com/product-p/ps-252.htm Edited August 24, 2019 by Shambles
