Hi guys, hoping someone can point me in the right direction or already knows the answer to my following question;

I have a Kenworth paint code (Red 58209 U)

I want to find a suitable match for this in the model paint arena. This red is for my BJ and the Bear build and I want to get as close a match as possible. I can't seem to find that code at all in a search. It is the exact code stamped on the data plate of Paul Sagehorns original rig.

thanks !

Paul told me when he painted the Bear rig he used a Ford Bright Red color, not sure of exact name or code though.. I’ll be using a red that I found at Walmart. I think it’s called Poppy Red..

from what i have researched it looks to be the same red used on the Chervorlet p/up trucks and also know as cardinal red

Still can't seem to cross it over to a equivalent tamiya or vallejo but I'll keep searching!

Here’s what I’m using. Close to the actual color Paul used on the real rig...
