RadRidesByDan Posted September 19, 2008 Posted September 19, 2008 This is one to add to the Foose style......Unbelievable build specially coming from what had happened. excellent custom
lizardlust Posted September 19, 2008 Posted September 19, 2008 Pretty Kool looking sled in its own right - to say nothing of the resurrection that you accomplished!!! I doubt that I would have the talent OR the guts to bring back something that broken up - GREAT JOB!!!!
James Flowers Posted September 19, 2008 Posted September 19, 2008 That turned out great for a pile of junk. Save all that old plastic you can. Very nice.
Eshaver Posted September 19, 2008 Posted September 19, 2008 First, you deserve an award! secondly, you deserve an award! Thirdly , you certainly do see what a beautiful Roadster Pick up could have been accomplished with what you created, thanks for sharing it with us too! Ed Shaver
GOTH KUSTOMS Posted September 20, 2008 Posted September 20, 2008 Way sweet man, thats just awsome, good recovery...
Gary66 Posted September 20, 2008 Posted September 20, 2008 That is fantastic! Great save, I really like to see projects brought back from near destruction and you did a superb job of turning into a really. really nice custom.
stevegt738 Posted September 20, 2008 Author Posted September 20, 2008 Thanks guys. Kurt, the one good thing about being bad tempered when i was younger is wrecks like this have taught me a lot about body work . Jim, prices for kits here in Oz are ridiculous. Revell kits are $35+ on the shelfhere, and AMT are $30+ if you can find them. Don`t even get me started on European and Japenese kits. It`s just not models either, just about everything imported here is way over priced compared too most of the world.
randx0 Posted September 22, 2008 Posted September 22, 2008 way to stick with it ,always nice to see a completed model especially one that suffered such a major set back .I like the use of the custom parts seems like hardly anyone uses those any more but i think they're pretty cool. kudos to you sir
RodneyBad Posted September 23, 2008 Posted September 23, 2008 That is Dedication to a build. Twice. Incredible rebuild. Great Job!!
carrucha Posted September 23, 2008 Posted September 23, 2008 Good job saving the Merc. Nice interior. I would have hate to throw out a model that could be saved even if it was as badly damaged as yours. carrucha
Harold Posted September 24, 2008 Posted September 24, 2008 Wow! Talk about bringing something back from the grave . Great save.
