Lance Lawson
Here's a shot of my Eliminator II under construction. I got to see the real car race in 1967 at Englishtown. It ran mid 8's. That Cammer shook the ground. I used Dulpicolor paint for the finish. I applied 2 coats of primer, sanded, 2 coats of color followed by 3 coats of clear. I applied the decals before clear coating the body. The finish will be wet sanded with 2000 grit then buffed. I have a second model still boxed and may use a body from the standard 1967 Comet Cyclone kit since it has the proper wheel base. The original car used a standard wheel base.
