misterNNL Posted October 4, 2019 Posted October 4, 2019 I recently saw a post here about a liquid product that can be applied to 3D printed bodies to help level out some of the uneven sections prior to painting. I have a fellow club member that would like to try it but I can't remember where I saw it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Shelby 427 1965 Posted October 4, 2019 Posted October 4, 2019 It was here, I had asked about it. Cheers. Tomo
misterNNL Posted October 4, 2019 Author Posted October 4, 2019 Thanks Tomo. I am constantly amazed by the knowledge and info available by simply asking. Just one more example of what makes these forums so great!
djflyer Posted October 4, 2019 Posted October 4, 2019 One method that I have used that works very well on SLS printed bodies is using the ultra-thin super glue. The bodies are porous so spread a very thin layer on and let it soak in. After an hour or so you can sand smooth, then prime and paint as normal.
