First off the "contact us" link on their website doesn't work, so if anyone has contact info, I'd appreciate it.

I'm wondering about their 671/T turbo diesel resin engine. How long is it? Will it fit into an engine bay that originally had an inline six like the '50 Chevy 3100?

Does it come with a belt for the pulleys?

Any info would be helpful, thanks.

Fully dressed the 6-71 is most likely going to be way to long for the stock engine bay in a 50 Chevrolet. The valve cover with both accessory drives measures 1 3/4". That is not including pulleys. No belt is included.  I usually make belts out of styrene strips. A 4-71 may be a bit long but would come closer to fitting. I built an F-8 Ford with a 4-71 and I'm pretty sure that I had to modify the firewall to get it to fit. I put a 6v-71 in a 71 Ford truck and had to modify the firewall on it too. That would be similar in length to a 3-71 which is also an option. If the 4-71 is the route you choose I'm told that Jamie also offers it too. Another option that you may consider is the 4BT Cummins that Jamie offers. It would be the closest to fit in the original bay without modifying the firewall. A 6BT would come closer than a 6-71 but may still need some modifying to the firewall.

I hope that this helps.

That helps loads. The 4BT was already on my radar. I think that will be my choice and I like the look of it. Thanks.
