REAL racecar drivers either settle it on the track by trading fenders or in the pits afterwards! There is always next week to be considered, lots of "just racin'" things happen in race traffic conditions.

Not a big F1 fan (don't have cable, so can't watch much). I know i do enjoy watching it. Seems like there is always something going on outside of the race. Have you seen this? I thought it was pretty funny. I guess this is why drivers don't drive their spouces around the track. Keep an eye on Patrese. Looks like he is going to the grocery store to get some millk & eggs.

My personal opinon: the FIA "penalized" Hamilton to "Gin-up" the closeness of the Points Race to "Sell Tickets". Let's go back a few Seasons, remember when "what's-his-name" blocked Hamilton's Timing Lap at Moraco? Did the Ferrari Driver "Lose Points" for a deliberate action?

I am not sure what you are talking about. Hamilton has only been racing F1 this and last year. If you are talking about the MS incident he was penalized for that.

Well you don't trade fenders in an open wheel car... First of all they don't have any, secondly it is a good way to get yourself killed because when you touch in an open wheel car they tend to go flying.

Are you ready boys...

The bill Mclaren is picking up for their lost appeal est min $500,000.00 but probably closer to 1 million.

Posted
OUCH. How much more can they afford to spend on these crazy things? Spying and appeals oh my.....

They got money. I wonder how much came out of Hammies pockets?

Posted
Hopefully something, this way he too can feel the sting....

I hope so too.

It should prove to be an interesting weekend for sure. Hammie has a lot on his plate. Late to Singapore, a new track, at night, lost appeal, one point in front of Massa for the WDC, Alonso for Massa, Glock gunning for him, little or no support from the rest of the pack, and the Stewards watch like a.

Will he crack?

Will he do something really stupid out of desperation?

I hope Massa gets the jump on Hamilton this weekend and grabs some more points. Massa has proved himself as good driver, I think he deserves the championship.

I agree, he has matured as a championship driver this year, and is getting lessons from one of the best. M. Shumacher who has been his personal mentor for much of the season.

He has been particularly done well in the rain, which has been his weakest skill, in a car that hasn't been so good in the rain. And it seems to have rained at more races this year than not.... speaking of which they are expecting T-storms in Singapore this weekend.

BTW this is good stuff and had to share.

Kimi on Singapore.

"I don't know what time the race is. It it in the evening? Good. I enjoy evenings and night time more anyhow. I like to sleep until noon every day so for me this seems like a perfect venue. I am more awake in the evening than in the mornings..."

You're right, Michael has done a great job mentoring Massa. I hope it's dry for the night race, it ought to be awesome under the lights.

Good chance of rain during the day and dry at night. Qualifying and the Race start at 10 pm local time.

It should be spectacular.

David Coulthard once said Kimi was "Dead from the feet up". Kimi is notorious for NOT having a personality at all. He was asked if he was going to party at his birthday (mid 20's) and he responded "I'm too old for that now".

Michael has always been my favorite driver. I haven't followed F1 since he retired. He celebrated every win like if it were his first. Senna was just as great but I think in his time there was a bit more variation between the cars. Michael dominated when rules were making cars closer together. Of course the Ferrari reliability did not hurt either. In the rain, they were both great but I think Senna may have had the edge. He was the Rei da Chuva (King of the rain).

I still consider myself a Tifosi! I'd love to see Massa win the championship.

Thanks,

I know... that's what makes this all the more funny.

BTW Ferrari said the think they have solved their rain issue, and did some rain testing. For whatever reason there was never enough heat getting into either Brimbo's or Carbon Industry's brake packages. They think they have it solved now.

this is for you guys, I agree with everything!

what happened, Hamilton needs to learn from this!!

Oh yeah, that was an infamous battle that went on for laps.

Hamilton will never be that good. Too impatient.

I espeically liked the rich and hairstlye comments ;) but yeah I agree!

Now that was racing! It took real gonads to drive like that.

Oh yeah I know, I'd personally rahter watch this, sadly, we will never see racing like THIS again.

You send me to a Vintage racing event and i'll have probably more fun than a new event, other than Spa, Singapore, Nurb, Monza....ok all the tracks but still!
