JerseeJerry55 Posted October 15, 2019 Posted October 15, 2019 Good morning all and hope all are well. Is anyone aware if there are plans to release a kit version of the 2019 Monster Energy Series Mustang? Would love to see Revell do one.
Jim N Posted October 15, 2019 Posted October 15, 2019 There have not been any announcements that Revell will be doing the 2019 cars. If Revell gets back in the modern NASCAR market, I don't see it happening before the Gen 7 cars are introduced in 2021. Just about everything with these cars will be different from the Gen 6 car, so any work done by Revell will not transfer to the new car. There is a guy named Henrik who posts his work on Randy Ayers website. He created a new generation Mustang and may use it to make resin bodies. The body is supposed to work with the glue Fusion kit. This maybe your only option for a while.
Dave Van Posted October 15, 2019 Posted October 15, 2019 No logic to tool a 2019 Mustang now.......the car will be 80% new in 2021 and even then I don't see it. The price the Elliott Chevy SS kits are getting they could make a little cash on it before that too is gone......I know it ain't a Camaro but demend is still there. Kit had a short run.
