got myself another shelf to hold my projects/future builds. i have more i forgot to add/dont have room for, plus i got more coming

Hey that's a neat idea! I oughta try something like that as I've got a LOT of old restorable models waiting to be redone!

Since they're waiting for a resto, you need not worry about 'em collecting dust and whatnot...........beats keeping them wrapped up in a box, where at least you could see 'em.

thanks. i thought it was too, then maybe this way ill finish em faster lol. and when i finish one i can but the built one on the shelf and grab one of em to work on

a cheap way is to use metal corner braces and the 4" window panes like the wall of projects in my bedroom...

you can see the chassis too

i would but i dont feel safe with that much glass in my room . plus i dont pay attention to the chassis too much either

they're all held down with 3m double sided tape

update on the hearse

got the door hinged, still gotta finish up the jambs

got the trim made

and made the "vinyl" top. i couldnt find my vinyl so i did the masking tape trick

Now it looks like a Hearse.

Nice job on the door and roof.

As for my projects, I leave them in the box, don't have enough wall space.

It's taken up by boxed kits.

i got the body cleared yesterday. lettin it set up yet so i can tape it off and spray the roof.

still gotta give it another coat of clear

got the top painted semi-gloss black

got the motor painted, still gonna add plug wires and make a fuel line and find headers thatll fit

even got orange plug wire!

i have an ambulance that needs a engine in and i dont have another 59 caddy frame

frame is just the one that came with it, hacked up to use the 60 impala front suspension. im not gonna have any chassis detail, just engine bay

not much of an update since i aint reallybuildin at the moment but its somethin

went to wally world and bought this VW bug so i could jack the blinds in the rear window

so i can put em in my 41 plymouth

yup had to, once i saw em i knew i needed em for the 41 lol. now on monday when i go to town the bug is gettin returned lol
