Is the Doc gonna miss those? ;)

Did you need stitches or just Glued back together?

Gotta watch those blades when they're new.

That caddie backs didn't look that bad..

The pockets would have been a nice up-grade.

Do you need to redrill the wheel holes or just glue back on?

Master cylinder looks much better..

naw, they throw em out after each use, she just told me not to hurt myself with em ;)

had to get 5 stichtes

caddy backs didnt match mine, so they had to be changed

the wheels are just glued on

and thank you :D

I'd say keep the blood on the wall. If anyone asks, just say "Let's just say someone didn't agree with my modeling ideas...whoops I've said too much, and now I can't let you leave!" :D

pics236-2.jpg

Looks better now.

A white Dash?

that throws me off with the black seats.

Mmmm

I think you need some nice white leather seats.

Where is the pic of your Vents in question?

Are they indented into the fender or just on top of it?

For the 5A faux fender vents, you might try using the louvers included with the Revell '54 Chevy Sedan Delivery kit. You'd have to splice two together to get the correct height and shorten the length, but it might work.

Are you modifying the grille to a Lebaron style?

id like to get white leather seats, but to hard to keep clean,,,look at the door panel

the vents are just on top of the fender

;) good thinkin! now i gotta grab my 54 chev kit

ya im gonna make grille to match the diplomat SE grill i got on the 1:1 now

but later on i plan on makin a 80/81 grille like im gonna eventually put on

Posted

I can't say if the louvers I mentioned are in all the '54 Chevy kits, as I only had the '54 sedan delivery molded in maroon plastic ('80s issue)

Posted

ya i got that same kit. already dug out the vents B)

and they will work when i mod em like you said

your a life saver

last thing i wanted to do was try and make em

Posted

well i had it mocked up and i could see through the engine bay and grille, why? cuz there was no radiator. most probably wouldnt notice, but id know so i added one

pics243-3.jpg

for the fender vents i did what casey said and am using the 54 chevy hood louvers

pics245-2.jpg

they were a lil long, and too tall if i put em side by side

pics246-3.jpg

so a lil choppin and they fit. i know there aint as many "vents" as the 1:1 but close enough for me

who's gonna notice?

I'd add 1 more louver tho

it's alittle closer to the door edge.

And I see you got your door trim on too.

Excellent Idea Casey
