Building your own chassis

Recommended Posts

Hello everybody. I know this question has probably been asked many times, but what do you use to build your own chassis? For example, if I wanted to build my own chassis to turn a 4x4 pickup into a lowrider street truck, what kind of tubing would I need and what size? Does it depend on the type of vehicle you're building? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'd just use 4mm x 2mm  styrene for that, and most other.

I plucked this pic from FB. I hope the poster doesn't mind but I thought I could use it in the future, and I think you can use it for what you have in mind altered for use on a p/u.
