For example, if I wanted to build my own chassis to turn a 4x4 pickup into a lowrider street truck, what kind of tubing would I need and what size? I hope the poster doesn't mind but I thought I could use it in the future, and I think you can use it for what you have in mind altered for use on a p/u. Tom Geiger Posted October 27, 2019 Share Posted October 27, 2019 If you want to scratch build your own, best way is to copy a decent kit chassis. Take a look at the Foose 56 Ford pickup chassis.
