Fifer Posted November 15, 2019 Posted November 15, 2019 I got this and it is way out of my wheelhouse but having fun with it. I am planning on using the body and as you can see the crank mounted blower. The tubes you see on the blower will extend out past the body where the scoop will be located. Not very good on instructions but most of the fit is pretty good. Mike

GRiN Posted November 16, 2019 Posted November 16, 2019 I like the single engine route. Mine has been sitting in the box half started for years. Maybe it's time has come. To much life getting the way. Gary

The rear wheel molding is pretty sad on the outer edge and I have a small sand blaster so I have been stripping a lot of chrome in favor of paint. Mike
cobraman Posted November 16, 2019 Posted November 16, 2019 Nice start. I have always been interested in that kit.

Deuces Posted November 18, 2019 Posted November 18, 2019 I'm trying to figure out how to mount the chopped tall T body on the exterminator chassis....

GRiN Posted November 18, 2019 Posted November 18, 2019 The chrome on mine was really rough. It was stripped away as well. Went through a lot oven cleaner. Then it was the sanding of the mold lines. Thank goodness that I was a machinist at the time or it would have been a small fortune in files. Did they have to use the hardest plastic known to man in the injection machines? Oh well, back to the Baja Bronco. Gary
Fifer Posted November 18, 2019 Author Posted November 18, 2019 I know what you mean ,I used a multitude of sanding sticks on mine as well and yes, some pretty bad chrome work. and some parts with crazy mold line locations. Mike
Fifer Posted November 28, 2019 Author Posted November 28, 2019 Here is a little progress. The wheels and tires took forever. I have the body cut out for the intake but not sure if I will use the body yet. Happy Thanksgiving !!!
1930fordpickup Posted November 29, 2019 Posted November 29, 2019 I picked one of these up when Ollies had them, to bad they did not have the tall T as well.
